Bob Bunger, 1989 BCLP alumnus – Milaca, is one of three founders of HBH Consultants, which helps organizations to strengthen leadership, heighten organizational capacity and reach challenging goals.

HBH Consultants has partnered with Bremer, Tastefully Simple and West Central Initiative to design and conduct the first Board Leadership Academy (BLA) for nonprofit board members and executive directors in west central and central Minnesota.  The third cohort began in October 2009. Services provided by the BLA include: assessing and strengthening systems, applying best practices and innovative solutions and supporting and equipping staff, board members and other volunteers.

Through his work, Bob has provided counsel to a host of community foundations, higher education institutions and health care organizations.  His community leadership experience includes terms on the Milaca City Council and School Board. He currently serves on the board of the Minnesota Humanities Center, to which he was appointed by Governor Tim Pawlenty.
