HBH Consultants welcomes Katrina Pierson to Firm

HBH Consultants, LLC, experts in organizational and fund development, are proud to announce the addition of Katrina Pierson as a Senior Associate to their team. The Minnesota-based firm, with offices in the Twin Cities, Milaca and Sauk Rapids, was founded by Bob Bunger, Dianne Hennes and Dayton Hultgren in 1997. The firm provides services to not-for-profit organizations in the areas of planning, fund development, communications, organizational capacity building, governance and training.

Pierson brings to the team a wealth of experience in fundraising and communications with a proven track record of success in writing revenue-producing grant proposals. With a background in arts and culture, youth development, healthcare and the environment, Katrina brings a fresh perspective to the firm. Before joining HBH as a Senior Associate in September, she served as the Director of Development for the Great River Educational Arts Theatre (GREAT), in St. Cloud, Minnesota and has worked with several not-for-profit organizations  as a staff member and consultant in fundraising and communication roles.

Bob Bunger, HBH Consultants’ Founding Partner and Principal said in making the announcement: “We are delighted to have Katrina join our firm.  She has a demonstrated track record of success working with a variety of diverse organizations.  Katrina possesses expertise in communications and social media, as well as fund development, which will provide even greater breadth to the well-rounded menu of services HBH offers.  Katrina is a rising star who will play a significant role as HBH continues to grow and evolve in order to better serve our clients.”

Katrina specializes in donor communications and cultivation and is enthusiastic about engaging a new generation of givers through social media and online fundraising techniques. She graduated magna cum laude from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Mass Communications and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Central Minnesota Sustainability Project in St. Cloud.

HBH Consultants helps organizations strengthen leadership, heighten organizational capacity and reach challenging goals. Since its inception, the firm has served more than 135 not-for-profit groups ranging from higher education and hospital institutions to grassroots coalitions and churches throughout Minnesota and beyond.
