HBH to Lead Fundraising and Grant Writing Workshops May 3
We’re pleased to share that we will be leading two workshops on Tuesday, May 3 with our friends at the Initiative Foundation in Little Falls. Bob Bunger will be leading the morning session, “Grassroots Fundraising for Nonprofits” that will address the principles of effective fund development including: developing a case statement, asking for gifts, organizing and energizing volunteers, cultivating donors and creating a solid development plan with proven strategies for success.
Dianne Hennes and Katrina Pierson will lead the afternoon session, “Sharpening your Grant Writing Skills” which will guide participants through the process of writing a winning grant proposal and how to avoid common mistakes that land their proposal in the trash can. The session will also provide basic strategies for managing grant projects and maintaining relationships with funders. Participants will have the opportunity to work in small groups to practice writing key proposal components. This workshop will focus on writing to foundation and corporate grant makers.
The deadline to sign up is April 26, so don’t delay! Cost is just $13 and is free for current HOP “Stay” grantees. Register today.
