Immediate Funding Available for Capacity Building
Christmas has come a few months early for Central Minnesota nonprofits.
The Initiative Foundation has recently announced the availability of funds for a variety of activities that can help your organization do good better. That’s right, you identify your capacity-building need/s and our friends at IF will help connect you with a consultant AND foot the bill.
Not yet a 501c3? That’s okay–the Foundation encourages grassroots groups to apply. Qualifying organizations must provide services within IF’s service area and fit the program focus of broad-based economic recovery.
Many activities fall within the criteria of the Consultant Assistance Project.
HBH would be honored to partner with you on your project. Here are a few services we offer that fall within the scope of IF’s guidelines:
- Strategic Planning
- Communications Planning (including social media)
- Brand Identity Development ( logo design, brand positioning and standards)
- Grant Research
- Grant Writing and Management Training
- Fund Development Planning
- Training for your Board (governance, fund development, etc.)
- Annual Report and Brochure Writing and Design
But hurry because time is of the essence. To apply: By 4:30pm on August 23rd, complete and submit a brief application form to the Initiative Foundation. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
With no exceptions project goals must be arranged in partnership with your selected professional consultant by September 15, 2011 and projects completed no later than November 15, 2011.
To get started, just fill out the brief application form. Contact us if you have questions about how HBH can work with you!
